Quiet Lapland is a subsidiary of A Frank Idea. Quiet Lapland and A Frank Idea respect your privacy. If you are a private customer, Quiet Lapland only collects the name of (if you want you may use an alibi), and an email address, of the paying customer. The email address is used to send a confirmation with time and place for the pick up for the activity. You can leave optionally your telephone number, that might be helpful to fine tune a booking, but that is not necessary.

A Frank Idea is selling its activities as well on third party booking platforms, such as Tripadvisor and Expedia, and Stripe is the credit card company we use to process payments for our bookings. If you buy at third party booking platforms and if you use the services of a credit card agency, you agree to their respective terms and agreements. For last minute payments we use a mobile payment device designed by Izettle.

Personal data is exclusively used for the purpose to organize our activities, and will never be shared with third parties, unless we are obliged to by law enforcement.

We will not use your data for marketing. Your data will not be sold to third parties. In case we will ever sell our company, we will not share any data about private customers, as we do not store personal data of clients. Your personal data is deleted as soon as possible after the service is concluded.

If you are a business partner, we will save your contact details, that means your name, email address and telephone number, on encrypted devices and an encrypted server. In case one business partner is interested to collaborate with another business partner we work with, we might want to bring you in contact with each other, but we will ask for your permission to do so. In other words, we will never share your contact details without your permission.

Quiet Lapland and A Frank Idea use unencrypted email as primary medium for communication. We do not use trackers in our emails.

Customers and partners acknowledge that unencrypted email communication is not considered secure in regards of safety or privacy and that email might be stored in plain text by an email provider. A Frank Idea deletes emails from our server a month after conversation.

In case one prefers another medium for communication, Quiet Lapland encourages you to communicate via signal messenger. Please mail us for our telephone number.

A Frank Idea is constantly considering the safety of our digital infrastructure. In case the website, booking software, computer or telephone of Quiet Lapland or A Frank Idea will be breached, a notification shall be put on the webpages of Quiet Lapland & A Frank idea. Quiet Lapland & A Frank Idea will provide a description of potential consequences and possible measures to be taken to deal with a data breach. We can not reach out to individual customers, as we do not save the contact details of our previous customers.

Our website and e-mail server is hosted by Orange website in Iceland.

The primary cookie on this website is used for our web shop to function. We do not use tracking cookies. Quiet Lapland itself can not collect any data about you by visiting our website. Our web shop uses software of Bokun, which is owned by Tripadvisor.

Google analytics gathers anonymized traffic statistics on all Bokun software. Quiet Lapland can not access that data. Google analytics creates for Bokun the following cookies:
